CfP provides a rare opportunity for Palestinians and Israelis to work and struggle together for a just solution to the endless occupation and violence. Their shared identity as former combatants has put members in a unique position to build bridges across the Israeli-Palestinian divide. They have been able to forge authentic partnerships in the face of countless obstacles--social, political, and economic, as well as real physical barriers.
In August 2016, Karuna Center founder Paula Green co-facilitated a training in Active Non-Violence for CfP in Jordan, with UMass Professor of Resistance Studies Stellan Vinthagen. The video below, made by CfP about the training, is a great 3-minute overview of what the training was about, and why it is so important.
