AICPR ( Alliance for International Conflict Prevention and Resolution )

Network of organizations dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of the conflict resolution field and maximizing its impact on international peace building. AICPR currently has 29 members including Karuna Center for Peacebuilding.

American Friends Service Committee

Founded by Quakers in 1917 to provide conscientious objectors with an opportunity to aid civilian war victims, AFSC carries out service, development, social justice, and peace programs throughout the world. Its work is based on the Quaker belief in the worth of every person and faith in the power of love to overcome violence and injustice.

Barre Center for Buddhist Studies and The Insight Meditation Society
BCBS offers workshops in the study of the larger Buddhist tradition within a contemplative framework, building a bridge between study and practice, between scholarly understanding and meditative insight. IMS offers intensive meditation retreats to foster the practice of vispassana meditation.

Buddhist Peace Fellowship
BPF is involved in various peace efforts, including disarmament work, environmental and human rights, and opposing oppression of Buddhists in Bangladesh, Burma, Vietnam, and Tibet.

CONTACT (Conflict Transformation Across Cultures) - School for International Training
A professional development program designed to strengthen and support the community-building, coexistence, and conflict intervention efforts of peacebuilders internationally.

Fellowship of Reconciliation
FOR is an interfaith organization committed to active nonviolence as a transforming way of life and as a means of radical change. FOR educates, trains, builds coalitions, and engages in nonviolent and compassionate actions locally, nationally, and globally.

Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution - George Mason University
ICAR offers the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and the Master of Science (M.S.) degrees in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. Enhancing the Institute's degree programs are three additional components: research and publication, a clinical and consultancy program, and public education.

The International Center for Ethics, Justice, and Public Life - Brandeis University
The Center deals with the ethical dilemmas and obligations inherent in global and professional leadership, with particular focus on the challenges of racial, ethnic, and religious pluralism. Examining responses to past conflicts, acts of intervention, and failures to intervene, the Center seeks to enable just and appropriate responses in the future.

Middleway
Middleway is dedicated to promoting non-violence, compassion and peace, using the proven methods of peace walks, bridging dialogue and education.

Nonviolent Peaceforce

An international organization building a trained, international civilian peaceforce to be sent to conflict areas to prevent death and destruction and protect human rights, thus creating the space for local groups to struggle nonviolently, enter into dialogue, and seek peaceful resolution.

One by One
One by One promotes dialogue among descendants of survivors, perpetrators, bystanders, and resisters, exploring the legacy of the Holocaust and the Nazi Regime.

PAWSS (Peace and World Securities Studies) - Five Colleges
PAWSS is a multidisciplinary educational endeavor of the Five College Consortium of Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

School for International Training, Graduate and Professional Studies
SIT offers Master of Arts degrees in Teaching, Conflict Transformation, International Education, Social Justice and Intercultural Relations, Sustainable Development, and Intercultural Service, Leadership and Management. Other programs include an M.S. in Organizational Management and a post-graduate diploma and Master's degree in NGO Leadership and Management.

Traprock Peace Center

The Traprock Peace Center is a network of neighbors that educates citizens to create a culture of peace. Traprock works with groups in the UK and US to raise awareness of international peace efforts, and also provides original resources on its website.

United States Institute of Peace

USIP is an independent, nonpartisan federal institution created by Congress to promote the prevention, management, and peaceful resolution of international conflicts.
